Air

The Engadine Valley stirs under a morning fog, transforming into a dreamlike scene. The mist drapes the landscape, softening its features and making trees, mountains, and paths appear to float, as if the valley is suspended between reality and fantasy. Known locally as the “Engadine Snake,” the fog winds through the valley, its tendrils creating an air of mystery.

As the sun rises, its rays cut through the fog, casting a diffused light that gives the surroundings an otherworldly glow. Peaks appear softer, forests take on ghostly silhouettes, and the familiar becomes extraordinary.

In these quiet hours, the Engadine feels like a living painting, serene and enchanting. Though the fog fades as the day warms, it leaves behind a lasting sense of peace and wonder.
